The book review of HOW LUCKY WEARE HERE in Readaholic, Junior 2 Over there 来自:作文大全 “How lucky we are here!” It is very tough to say this sentence from your true mind. However, we lived in cities which have developed science and technology and have few things to be worried about. Our lives are happiness and serene, so we can’t understand what’s called”poor”。 Actually, I didn’t know it before I read this article. But now, I did. 来源:作文网 zw.liuxue86.com This article is a letter from Suzanne to Estelle. In the letter, Suzanne told Estelle something about her new and special friend: Louisa. Louisa lived in Uganda, Africa. The Louisa’s family was very poor, they have three children and can’t give all of them enough food to eat. Louisa loves study but sometimes she had to look after her sister and brother. And the facilities were very outdated, there were no electricity there, it was really unimaginable! But the realities are just like that. As we know, Uganda is one of the most underdeveloped countries in the world. Although it has rich natural resources, its education and industry are poor. So the children here can hardly go to school. The schools there are very shabby, they have few teachers and no electricity, it forced the study time became fewer and fewer. Seeing things from our point of view, we are lucky. The compulsory education helped us can easily be educated. And we can do the things we wanna do, not help the family to sell things. I remembered that I read an article. It’s called Feeding the Hungry. There was a fragment I remembered very clearly: Hundreds of people stand in line at a feeding center in Ethiopia, desperate for food. Their arms are stick thin, and their bellies are swollen with hunger.” I am hungry, and I feel really sick,” A farmer told the reporters. “We don’t have any food to eat.” It was memorable to me. Then I knew that almost 1 billion people around the world are struggling to find enough food to eat. I felt so shock! And after I read HOW LUCKY WEARE HERE,I felt just like this. How lucky we are here! Because we are here, we can eat till we are full. Because we are here, we can not to be thirsty. Because we are here, we can enjoy the work we do, following our passions. Because we are here, we can know I have a choice each day and starting afresh. Because we are here, we can taste the richness of food, sliding down my throat. Because we are here, we can do the things we want, so how lucky we are here! 《Over There》这篇优秀的“初一作文”由作文网收集,来源于互联网和会员投稿,仅供参考和学习,转载请注明出处。
