教学目标:

1、理解并会朗读Let’s read部分的短文,能完成文后回答问题的练习。

2、能够听、说、认读单词和短语:people, know, take some medicine等。

教学重点:学生能够充分理解并正确朗读短文,能结合流感的症状及其解决方法写一篇小短文。

难点:学生能够初步理解条件状语从句和时间状语从句,并能用这两种从句简单回答。

教学步骤:

Step 1  Warm-up

1、              Free talk:

T: What’s the weather like today/in winter? How are you today? I’m happy to hear that.

2 Daily talk.

Now please use the key words to make a short passage in groups of four.

(cold, winter, sick, have a sore nose, have a cold,及过去式2组信息选择。)

3、用图片导入

In  winter, the weather is not good. Sometimes it’s too cold. Sometimes  it’s warm again. So many people feel sick in winter. Look at Sarah.  What’s the real matter with her? Let’s listen and watch. 

Step 2  Presentation

1Pre-reading

a. 初看课文VCD, 找出课文主题:The flu.

(Q: What’s the real matter with the people? A: Have the flu. B. See the doctor. C. Have a cold.)

2、分段阅读并填表。

a. T: How do you know when the people get the flu? Please find out the symptoms of the flu. And fill in the first form.(评讲中运用句子If I have… I might…)

b. 读第2段。

If we have the flu. What should we do ? Read the second passage and fill in the form. (if I get… , I have to …评讲)

3、细读。

a. Follow the tape.

b. Have a match with the computer.

c. Read in group.

d. Check the group.

4、复述。

5、短文填空。

Step 3 Extension

1、讨论:If we don’t want to get the flu, what shall we do?

2、阅读一封e-mail, 并根据e-mail 回信。

3、评讲作文

Step4 Homework

1、听读P18 3次,家长签名小试卷上。

2、完善本次作文。

3、预习P19 B Let's learn.
