Once upon a time there was a wee lambkin, the wee lambkin has little body . One day he thought he would go to his grandmother’s house.

As the wee lambkin was going along the road , he met a fox, a tiger and the wolf . All of them would eat the lambkin. They said: ‘Lambkin, I will eat you!’ But the wee lambkin jumped and said: ‘ To Grandmother’s house I go .Where I shall bigger grow .Then you can eat me so. ’ They all liked to eat fat lambkin and so they let the lambkin go .

Before long the wee lambkin came to his grandmother’s house. She gave him wheat and corn to eat. Wee Lambkin ate and ate until he grew very, very fat.

One day ,the lambkin said: ‘I must go home now, grandmother. ’ ‘ No, No the fox or the wolf or the tiger will eat you up. ’ Said his grandmother. The Lambkin thought and thought .At last, the lambkin made a little drumkin, he climbed into it and began to roll along the road to his home.

Soon lambkin met the tiger and wolf . They cried : ‘Drumkin ,Have you seen lambkin? ’ ‘No, I wasn’t see him. ’ called the lambkin .They were angry because they had no lambkin to eat. The lambkin went on until he met the fox. The fox called out: ‘Drumkin! Have you seen lambkin? ’ Lambkin in his drumkin called back to him: ‘No, I wasn’t see him, he lost in the woods. ’ Now the fox could smell lambkin in the drumkin , he ran after the drumkin. But the drumkin rolled faster and faster until it had gone far away from the fox.

The story tells us that when we meet with difficulties, we must persist in trying to fight off difficulties .But sometimes you have to be wise to come up with clever ways to avoid difficulties. It’s like the wee lambkin. In the story , he is very clever. He makes a drumkin and then tricks the tiger ,the fox and the wolf. He is the one who has this clever talent to escape from the beast’s clutches. So his cleverness is worthy of our study.

At last, let us study the wee lambkin’s cleverness.
