Good morning, ladies and gentlemen!
Today, I am very glad to stand here to deliver my speech. My topic is Dream it! Do it! Let’s get moving!
Firstly, I would you tell you a story of my own. When I was in Grade 1, I always wanted to be No.1 in my class. But once in a Maths exam, I failed, I only got 64. I couldn’t believe it, I cried and cried.
When I arrived home, I sat down quietly without any words and locked myself in my bedroom. Just then, my father came in, I was afraid of meeting his expectant eyes. I wanted to say something, but words got stuck under my tongue.
“I know everything.” said my father, “I’m sorry.” I murmured.
“You tried your best. For this, I am proud of you. ” He comforted me, “Failure is the mother of success. Be confident, it’s only a exam. We can try again next time. Hold your dream, just do it, you will be successful at last”
From then on, I knew how I could make my dream come true. Never give up,
So, everybody, let’s take action and I’m sure we will get closer to our dreams.
Thank you for listening!
