  【关于改变的英语作文】

Hello, everyone! Have you changed your life? Was it difficult or interesting?

I`ve changed my life since I was 15. When I was a 15-year-old boy, I always spent all my time playing computer games. And I didn`t like to study at all. But one day, my Chinese teacher asked me to her office. She told me learning was more important than playing computer games and asked me not to waste my time on computer anymore.Since then, I started to cherish. I forgot the computer games and began to study hard. Now,I`ve already forgot the computer games nearly and I`ve already gotten good grades at the same time.

I was so bad in the past. But in my Chinese teacher`s help,I`ve been a good student. Was it incredible? So this was my bad life in the past and I`ve changed it.How about you?

  【乡村的改变】

Nowadays, thanks to the reform and opening-up policy, great changes have taken place in countryside. Now let me introduce some changes in details.

In the past, farmers used to live in the huts which were in poor quality. They would be destroyed easily in the heavy storm. But nowadays, most farmers have their own houses and flats. Some houses are even bigger and more marvelous than the ones in the city.

What a wonderful life in countryside. Maybe countryside will be more thriving than the city in the near future.

Change has been the one constant in my life. While staring out at the bleak Wisconsin winter, I think back to my beginnings on a warm tropical island. The biggest change was probably the first 鈥?moving from that buzzing Spanish-speaking isle to the sleepy sea-side town that was Tampa in 1978. It took me some time to realize that the other pre-schoolers could not understand my native tongue. Before long, I too was speaking their language.

Five years later I, an excited eight-year-old girl, boarded a school bus in New Jersey. The excitement quickly turned to fear as I heard rampant swearing in the back of the bus. I was truly shocked when the bus driver did nothing to stop the vulgarity. In my schools in Florida such behavior would have met with a bar of soap and a visit to the principal鈥檚 office. A year later, I had a "Jersey" accent, and had started swearing too.

After nine years my family then moved to a place called "a whole 鈥檔other country": Texas. I discovered that everything is bigger in Texas, from the size of a glass of ice tea to the distances on the road. My mother added barbecued brisket to the regular menu of turkey and Idaho potatoes on Monday and arroz con pollo on Tuesday.

The incredibly friendly Texans, wearing cowboy boots and going to high school football games on Friday nights, seemed a totally different breed from my friends in New Jersey. A slight drawl entered my speech.

  【If I can change】

If I can change, I want to change into the Jade Hare -- the moon. First of all, rabbit is beautiful and cute. I love it very much, especially its white and brushy fur. Secondly, as a boy, I like beautiful girls. If I can change into the Jade Hare -- the moon, I can have Chang’e to accompany with me. It must be wonderful life. I can’t help smiling if I keep considering

  【改变自己】

From my point of view, we should change ourselves when the situation can’t be changed any more. Difficulties hide in every corner of our life so we have to face them at times. But the problem is that we sometimes are not able to change the challenging situations at all as our abilities are limited. When it comes, we’d better change our attitude towards these difficulties. Only in this way can we get rid of the tough surroundings and be happy.

Something like that happened to me once. There was a time when I was laughed at by my classmates while I was walking. I was puzzled so I asked them why they laughed at me. One of them told me that the way I walked was very strange and funny. I was sad but I just couldn’t change the way I walked. And the situation of being laughed at by those people didn’t stop. Therefore, I changed my attitude towards the incident. I ignored those comments on me and walked as I used to. The comments soon disappeared and I was so glad to have succeeded in the quiet war.

So in my opinion, we should change ourselves first and then the situation can be changed at last. It is very difficult for us to change our surroundings but much easier to change ourselves. People around us will see our change, after which they may change their attitude toward us.
